Shipping policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered on D&B Market. All deliveries on our platform are handled through D&B Markets verified logistics partners only. Vendors are not allowed to deliver items privately or request external delivery payments.


1. Order Processing

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, it enters the processing queue:

  • Orders are processed within 24 hours on business days (Mon to Fri).
  • Vendors are notified automatically to package your item for pickup.
  • All packages must meet our standard packaging rules before dispatch.

If a vendor fails to prepare the item within the expected timeframe, D&B Market may cancel the order and refund the buyer.


2. Delivery Timeline

Delivery times vary based on your location and the vendor's region. Our standard delivery timeframe is:

  • Within the same city: 1 to 3 business days
  • Nationwide deliveries: 3 to 7 business days

Delivery delays may occur during peak seasons, weather disruptions, or unforeseen courier issues. We always provide real-time updates to keep you informed.


3. Delivery Tracking

Every order on D&B Market includes tracking. You can monitor your package by:

  • Logging into your account
  • Opening the Orders section
  • Clicking the Track Order button

Tracking updates include: Pickup time, transit location, dispatch progress, and final delivery confirmation.


4. Delivery Attempts

Our logistics partners will make up to two delivery attempts. If the buyer is unreachable or unavailable:

  • The item will be returned to the warehouse.
  • The order may be marked as failed delivery.
  • Re-delivery may require an additional fee.

Items cannot be delivered to unsafe or restricted locations.


5. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees vary based on:

  • Distance
  • Package weight and size
  • Vendor location

All delivery fees are displayed clearly at checkout before payment. Buyers will never be charged hidden delivery fees.


6. Delivery Confirmation

Once delivered, the rider or logistics partner will update the order status to Delivered. Buyers may also be required to:

  • Sign on delivery
  • Provide OTP confirmation
  • Confirm delivery on their account dashboard

If the buyer does not confirm delivery, the item may be auto-confirmed after a certain period to prevent disputes.


7. Damaged or Missing Items

If your item arrives damaged, incomplete, or tampered with, you must report it within 48 hours by submitting:

  • Clear photos
  • Video evidence
  • Description of what is wrong

D&B Market will investigate and take necessary action, which may include refunds or replacement.


8. Prohibited Delivery Requests

Buyers should never agree to the following:

  • Private delivery arranged by the vendor
  • Payment directly to a rider or vendor
  • Switching delivery to WhatsApp or private chats

All deliveries must go through the platform. D&B Market will suspend any vendor attempting to bypass delivery rules.


9. Failed Delivery or Lost Packages

If a package is lost in transit or misdelivered:

  • D&B Market opens an investigation.
  • If confirmed lost, the buyer receives a full refund.
  • If found, delivery will be reattempted at no extra cost.

10. Delivery Time Updates

We may adjust delivery times during:

  • Holiday seasons
  • Bad weather
  • Rider shortages
  • Major promotions or sales

Any changes will be communicated on the order tracking page.
